      MARTIN:

In the interest of harmony, many things can be left unsaid. But there are certain things that must not be forgotten. Our Polish Gehenna was cast aside and became the Forgotten Chapter of WWII because we didn’t speak up louder than the voices quelling it. The Seattle Group, the Orchard Lake Group and our own KSVM is trying to rectify that 70 years later. Congratulations to all.

As it is, there are too many who do not know of the "slight" as you call it, and certainly should. I am not a historian, but I believe the Polish Forces were either the fourth or the fifth largest army fighting the Nazis alongside their Allies. To be refused recognition and prohibited from taking part in the Victory Parade was more than a "slight" and our soldiers who knew of it, went to the grave humiliated remembering it â€" my own Father among them. And it is in His and their honor and memory and as a matter of record, that I brought the subject up.

Yes, we should magnanimously focus on the present and the future â€" but without knowing the past, history is prone to repeat itself and we can’t allow that. AMEN.
