In 1945, a very ill relative (Przemyslaw Malarz) was taken from a concentration camp in Germany to Great Britain. He returned to Poland (in 1946?) when he learned that his mother was still alive. Could anyone suggests where such records might be kept in England? It is assumed that either British or American forces liberated his last camp (name of camp is not known--records exist that he had been at Auschwitz, Sachsenhausen and Gross )
We have apparently exhausted all Polish sources [Polish Red Cross, IPN, Centralne Archiwum Wojskowe, Auschwitz Museum, Panstwowe Archiwum of several cities, Archiwum Diecezjalne] without getting his and his family's dates and places of birth. Several of these organizations have a record of this family but it's the personal details that cannot be located.
This is bery important to our family because my mother plans to place a new grave marker on her father's grave and wishes to include the names of all family members who died during WWII and have no known graves.
We would appreciate all suggestions.
