FW: Contact information for Polish reenactment unit to host "Forgotten Odyssey" screenings
Mike Blazejack (the Commanding Offier of Chicago's 12th Pulk Ulanów "Anders Army" re-enactment unit) has sent this information along with a photo of his unit along with Alicja (Moskaluk) Edwards, one of our group members who is a deportation survivor and author of "And God Was Our Witness" (see book reference in a previous posting).
I hope that Mike's unit is able to participate in a future event around the film in Chicagoland...

Subject: Contact information for Polish reenactment unit to host "Forgotten Odyssey" screenings
After having met Mrs. Alicja Edwards in person and talking with her I was very moved. She presented me with a very special signed copy of her book "And God Was Our Witness"
As was the custom of the original Polish Para Brigade we have made Mrs. Edwards our reenactment unit Brigade "Godmother" just as Maj. Gen. Sosabowski did with Maria Kahn and Zofia Kossak during the war.
If ever our units are available and can assist you, please feel free to contact me for assistance.
The attached photo is of Mrs. Alicja and her daughter as our honored guests at our last public reenactment event at Lowell, In in early May 2002.
