New Zealand Polonia deserves to be congratulated for their 60th.
Anniversary presentation of the "Pahiatua Children". These were the
733 Polish orphans who arrived in New Zealand in 1944. The one hour
documentary was shown on CTV N.Z. last Tuesday and also repeated the
following day. I was lucky enough to be in Christchurch at the time
so I saw this documentary twice. I must also mention that John-Roy
Wojciechowski, the Hon Consul played a very significant role in this
anniversary presentation. Great job, Kiwi Polonia take a bow.
