I did ask Zbyszek for help and he solved the problem. Here is part of
Zbyszek's email to me:
" Oh I see. Your email host is romed46@...
. It is a free email
Most likely your yahoo.com mail system strips off any attachments
because they are too large for your "free" mail service from
Yahoo.com. Yahoo is stating that the attachement7 is "not stored" on
you email account because of the size............Free email servers
like hotmail and yahoo have small limited room. My hotmail account
only has 2 mbytes local storage so it is very easy to fill it up
I am most grateful to Zbyszek for his help in this matter.
I am typing , for my grandchildren, the details of my experiences
during the war,but it is a hard and time consuming work. As of now I
have reached year 1944.
Have you visited my website POLAND & WW II. at
, and especially the section Wartime

> Hello Roman, I too thought that Zbyszek had discovered some
previously undisclosed pictures and like you, I thought that I was
doing something wrong regarding the PC...lack of computer-confidence
> Actually, whenever an attachment is inserted I usually manage to
open it...but the KS group postings are sent directly to my private
email address as opposed to me picking them up from the Yahoo
site...could this make a difference?
> Zbyszek is the one to ask as he is very knowledgeable in the latest
technologies, I believe that this is his profession so perhaps he
could help you with any settings etc.....ZBYSZEK YOUR EXPERTISE IS
NEEDED.... PLEASE HELP IF POSSIBLE!
> Roman, I found your account of the victory celebrations hysterical,
especially the amnesia and lampposts...have you written any accounts
of your experiences during/after the War?...I'm sure that if you did
they would be much appreciated, especially by second generation Poles
who can only imagine the horror/humour of the situation.
