Thank you for the info. That was great tip
I found the following book that tells of Polish cemeteries on Italian
soil. Does anyone have the book? I am looking to find where Franciszek
Rudel, born 1916 is buried in Italy?
Przewodnik po polskich cmentarzach wojennych we Wloszech: Monte Cassino,
Loreto, Bolonia, Casamassima: Przewodnik z pelnym spisem poleglych i
dokladnym rozmieszczeniem grobow na 50 rocznice bitwy o Monte Cassino.

The book presents lists of soldiers buried at the four Polish military
cemeteries in Italy: Monte Cassino (1049 persons), Loreto (1080 persons),
Bolonia (1416 persons), Casamassima (429 persons). The names are listed
according to the inscriptions on the headstones. The list for each cemetery
is arranged alphabetically. Included in the entries are: name, rank and
unit, date and place of birth, date of death, location of the grave.

He may be buried at Cassamassima. As there was a military hospital there
and some of the casualties may be there rather than at Cassino? This is
just a wild guess on my part, and I don't have a listing of those buried
