Chanukah Service and Potluck at Beth Tikvah Congregation at Dickinson Asbell Center!

Please mark your calendars for Nov. 22, 7:15 p.m, at the Asbell Center, to participate in Children's Services (led by Sunday School members), a potluck, and a Chanukah party.

Plan to bring a large vegetarian dish with enough food for your family and to share with others as well as fruit juice or soda.

The Hillel students are having their normal services and dinner that evening. So
please leave your potluck dishes in your car until 8 p.m. when space for food will be available at buffet tables that night.

Thanks everyone. We'll look forward to seeing you there!

Lancaster Chabad to Sponsor Movie Premiere and Screening

Lancaster, PA—On Tuesday, November 19, at 6 p.m. Chabad at F&M will be sponsoring a prerelease screening of Shekinah: The Intimate Life of Hasidic Women in the Bonchek College House Great Room.

Franklin & Marshall College is one of the first venues in the world to screen a brand new feature-length documentary that takes viewers into the rarefied world of young Hasidic women. With unprecedented access, “Shekinah: The Intimate Life of Hasidic Women” explores the perspectives of these young women from school age through courtship and marriage.

Following the screening, Yisroel Bernath, a Canadian Rabbi who was highly involved in the production of the film, will lead a short discussion about the film and answer questions from the audience. For Rabbi Bernath's biography, please visit: http://www.jewishmonkland.com/762563.

The movie is free for F&M Students and FPS, and $10 donation is requested, to be paid at the door, for our friends in the Lancaster community.

This event is co-sponsored by Chabad, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Hillel, Judaic Studies and Women's & Gender Studies.
