Aloha. Thinking it would be fun to hear about various knit (and other) projects happening here on the Big Island. Most of us have many simultaneous projects to suit our moods and where we are working. I recently started a cotton project. It is a tank top called "Love" by Norah Gaughan out of her book called Flower Child, Volume 4. I am using the recommended yarn, Berroco Pure Pima. It is wonderful to handle. The light color prevents me from taking it places where it could get dirty, I wash my hands before picking up the work. It is going together easily and I am learning some new technique which was my goal! I bought the pattern and yarn at the yarn shop in Hilo, The Yarn Basket. It was an affordable project and I am so excited about finishing it and then wearing it! Amazing. Has anyone else tried Norah Gaughan patterns? Look forward to a reply. Will post a picture when it is done. A hui hou.
