TheKiwanis Club of Hingham-Weymouth (MA) will hold their Annual PancakeBreakfast in conjunction with the Hingham 4th of JulyParade. In previous years, they have served over 500 people. 65thANNUAL KEY CLUB INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION - DENVER, COLO
The Kiwanis Club ofFairfield (CT) will hold their Annual Picnic at the Kiwanis Ballfieldfrom noon to 1:30. They will serve burgers, hot dogs, salads, drinksand the ice cream truck.
TheHooksett (NH) Kiwanis Foundation will host the 12th AnnualHooksett Open Golf Tournament at the Candia Woods Golf Links. CandiaWoods opened for play in 1964. The golf course was designed by PhilWogan whose father, Skip Wogan, worked directly for the famed golfcourse architect Donald Ross. Although Candia Woods offers thechallenge to tournament players, it is a very enjoyable course forplayers of all abilities. Generous fairways & the option to runthe ball on to every green are part of the reason that it is calledthe friendliest course in NH. The cost per golfer is $110 or $440 fora foursome. TheManchester (NH) Kiwanis Club will hold their 2nd Annual"Kiwanis Day with the Fisher Cats" at Merchants MotorsStadium along the Merrimack River. This will also be a fundraiser anda 50/50 Raffle. It will be a family event with underprivilegedchildren attending as guests; one of the children is chosen to throwout the first ball. The Kiwanis Club ofSanford (ME) will hold the Sanford Kiwanis Club Annual Outing. Itstarts with golf at the Sanford Country Club in the morning followedby an afternoon and evening of games, food and all around good fun.Mark Patterson has graciously agreed to host the event again thisyear. Plan to play hooky and spend the whole day with your fellowKiwanians, it's a lot of fun!

TheKiwanis Club of West Hartford (CT) will again be hosting theirspecial needs bicycle camp "Lose The Training Wheels" atthe Hall High School Gym, 975 North Main Street, West Hartford, CT.Applications are now being accepted for those children with specialneeds, ages 8-18 that want to learn to ride a bicycle withouttraining wheels. Five (5) daily sessions of 1 hr and 15 minutes willbe held. Each child will be attending the same time session for 5days. Maximum number of children that can be accepted is 40. Lastyear, this was the only camp of its kind in New England. TheKiwanis Club of Standish (ME) will be celebrating their 80thAnniversary at their beach on Watchic Lake. TheKiwanis Club of Mount Washington Valley (NH)will host a day longtrain ride to Crawford Notch on the Conway Scenic Railroad to benefitCamp Sunshine. They hope Kiwanians from area clubs will join withthem. The train can carry upwards of 350 passengers. This train is aspecial run just for Kiwanis to help this worthy cause. The Manchester (NH)Kiwanis Club will hold it's Annual "Ten K Raffle"at the Chateau Restaurant. This is a reverse raffle with cash &merchandise prizes with a grand prize of $10,000.
