      Shaw’s program is up and running, please go to Shaw’s & sign up for it. You can add your choice & the percentage for the group & it will then be automatic! Shop on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and NE Kiwanis Foundation will get a donation equal to 1% of what you spend. The name and code for NE Kiwanis is “Kiwanis Foundation of New England: ID #49001019000.” If you have the code number to add to your rewards information, it is much easier & faster than searching by name.

      The Kiwanis Club of Marble Valley (VT) will be holding their Installation of Officers on the evening of the 2ND of October at 6pm at the Rutland Country Club in Rutland, VT. We welcome any Kiwanians and guests. We request that you respond to Chris Halnon by email at <Christopher.Halnon@...> by September 30TH with the final count in your party. The cost is $30 per person. Please come and join us.

      The Kiwanis Club of Westfield (MA) will hold their Installation Night Gala at Tucker’s on Friday, October 2ND. Dinner will be $25.00 per person & it is a family event, so please bring spouses, significant others, or “people we just met.”

      Division 6 will be holding it’s Governors Visit on Saturday, October 3RD at Strafford Farms Restaurant, located on Route 108 in Dover, NH, from 4:00 until 5:30.       The Kiwanis Club of Hardwick (VT) will hold their Installation of Officers on Saturday, October 3RD. The Installation will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. It will be held in conjunction with a Hardwick Area Chamber of Commerce Dinner in celebration of it’s 30TH Anniversary honoring individual contributors for their outstanding long term support to the chamber. This dinner will be by reservation only due to space limitations. Tickets are $15.00 per person for dinner, beverage and dessert; there will also be a 50/50 raffle. All/any proceeds will be shared by the Kiwanis Club of Hardwick and the Heart of Vermont Chamber of Commerce.

      The Kiwanis Club of Hardwick (VT) will hold their Kiwanis Chicken Barbeque from 10am to 12 on Saturday, October 3RD (before their Installation) across from the Hardwick Elementary School. They are looking for volunteers. 

      The Kiwanis Club of Sheffield (MA) will hold it’s annual Installation Dinner on Saturday, October 3RD at the Egremont Country Club in Great Barrington. A cash bar and cocktail snacks will be ready at 6pm with a buffet dinner at 7pm. This is always a night for good food and good fellowship. The cost is a low $26 per person and reservations should be made by September 28TH by contacting Joe Todd at 413-229-0441 or <todd116@...>.

      You are cordially invited to the Division 8 Installation on Sunday, October 4TH at The Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa in Whitefield, New Hampshire. Social Hour with Hors d'oeuvres from 2-3pm; Kiwanis Welcome & introductions 3-3:30pm and dinner is from 3:30-4:30pm. Dinner Choices: Grilled Salmon, Chicken Cordon Bleu or Grilled Skirt Steak at $40.       The Kiwanis Club of Dennis-Yarmouth (MA) will be holding their Installation Dinner at the Yarmouth House Restaurant.

It will be held at the Dante Club, 1198 Memorial Avenue, West Springfield (across from “The Big E”). The menu will be NY Strip Steak, baked potato bar (with toppings), Corn on the cob, garden salad, rolls & butter, carrot cake, coffee or tea and the cost is $20.00 per person. There will be Cheeseburgers, etc for children at a cost of $10.00. The Guest Speaker will be Lt Governor Elec George Delisle, there will be the Induction of the New President, Milly Parzychowski.       Governor Dave Koohy will make his official visit to the Kiwanis Clubs of Division 21 in Western Massachusetts on Tuesday, October 27. Come and meet Governor Dave and First Lady Ann Marie, and mingle with your fellow Kiwanians from the division. The event will be sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Holyoke and will be held at the Adelfia Restaurant, 506 Granby Road (US 202), South Hadley, MA. A buffet-style meal featuring fish, chicken and roast beef will be served. Dinner is $25 per person, all-inclusive. Please RSVP by October 13 to Lt.       The Kiwanis Club of Greater Seekonk (MA) has scheduled their 2010 Installation. It will be October 28TH at Johnson & Wales Inn, Seekonk, MA.       The Official Governor's Visit to Divisions 15 and 17 will be held on November 1ST (no Patriot's game) at Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant in Middleborough, MA. The Kiwanis Club of Middleborough will be the host club. Meet and Greet is at 12:30 P.M. with Lunch at 1:30 P.M. The cost will be $25 per person. A hot buffet will be served that includes: Italian Antipasto with House Dressing; Homemade Italian Sausages & Meatballs; Boneless Chicken Cacciatore; Baked Shells Parmigiana; Pasta Primavera; Ravioli with Meat Sauce; Assorted Italian Cookies; Assorted Breads & Butter; Coffee, Tea, and Soft Drinks.       The Official Governors Visit for Division 22 and 23 will be held at Monticello’s in Meriden, CT on Friday, November 13TH. There will be cocktails and meet & greet at 6pm, dinner will be at 7pm. It will be a buffet at a cost of $30.00 per person. Members from Division 22 will need to send in payment for the dinner to Lt Gov Motkue Bowles, 19 Shepard Road, West Hartford, CT 06110-2023 and members for Division 23 will need to send payment to Lt Gov Toni Walker, PO Box 2194, New London, CT 06320. They will need a confirmation on attendance by November 10TH. If anyone has any awards they would like to be presented, please notify Motkue or Toni so they will be able to add it to the program. Rich Cheatham will also be there to present information on the First Lady’s Project, Holiday Tribute.

      Traumatic Brain Injury”.

      Their story is amazing, powerful and inspiring. All are welcome to attend.
