TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE: The Kiwanis Club of West Hartford (CT) will again be honoring 8 people at their, “STARS FOR KIDS - People Lighting the Way for Children” Awards. In the spirit of Kiwanis and making a difference one child at a time, our 8 honorees are people who have “lit the way for children” and volunteered their time to help children including a fire fighter, police officer, resident and 5 high school seniors who will also receive a $500 scholarship. The events will be held from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the Town Hall Auditorium, 50 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT.

There will be great food and silent auction items as well as live jazz music. Ask anyone who went last year, it’s a fun time and a great opportunity to INTERCLUB! This is a 501c3 foundation event so a portion of the ticket price is tax deductible! For tickets, please contact Claudia Bowles at 860-313-0101 or <KiwanisWH@...>.

Children from divisions around New England have benefited in so many ways, not only by learning to ride but by putting them on an equal level with other kids and increasing their self esteem. Other Kiwanis Clubs can support this effort in a variety of ways. To find out more, please contact Claudia Bowles at <KiwanisWH@...> or call 860-313-0101. The benefits children gain from learning to ride is immeasurable! Help your division - we’ve had kids from Maine to CT participate!
