The new Family Membership Plan being offered in the New England District this year essentially means if one member of the family, or the household, is a Kiwanian, any other eligible family member or household member may join for half price. A club has the option of paying the entire $11.90 liability insurance from its community service account. If a club chooses this option, the following is the out-of-pocket costs to the club for a family member. If a club chooses to collect the $11.90 from the member, both columns below would need to be increased by $11.90. For example:

      Regular Membership Family Membership
      Kiwanis Int’l $42.00 Kiwanis Int’l $21.00
      NEDK $25.00 NEDK $12.50

      Liability Insurance $    .00 Liability Insurance $    .00
      TOTAL $75.00 $33.50

For more information, please contact your Lt. Governor or Past International Trustee and newly appointed NE Kiwanis Family Membership Chair Fred Bishop at 603-625-1555, email <fredwbishop@...>.

Here is an example of a club that is charging dues of $115.00
