The date is Friday, January 14TH beginning at 5:30pm and will be held on the Cape. The location is the Trowbridge Tavern & Canal Club, 100 Trowbridge Road, Bourne (Buzzards Bay), Massachusetts 20532. The event begins with a cash bar and the kick-off is at 6:00pm. The meal will be served buffet style and the tariff is $30.00. There is a Quality Inn next door for those who want to stay over. The club was officially recognized September 21ST as part of Dave Koohy’s administration. Everett High School cafeteria. This event, co-sponsored with Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) raises funds for both organizations. SADD is collecting funds for an after-prom party and Kiwanis will use their share to help fund many community activities. Adults are $10; children 12 and under $5.00. There will be a door prize and a Chinese auction. Email Joe Todd for further information: todd116@...January 18, 2011The Kiwanis Club of Greater Lowell (MA) is hosting a training, inter-club and dinner with Michael Kirchener, the Chair of Membership for the New England District of Kiwanis. This training will be very similar to the one he did at the conference in North Conway regarding preparing your club for new members. This is a timely topic in preparation for the New England District Membership Drive in February. Training and inter-club will be Preparing you club for New Members, held on Tuesday, January 18TH at 6:00pm. It will be held at Umass Lowell Inn and Conference Center in Downtown Lowell (formally the Doubletree Hotel). The cost is $30 per person which covers a buffet dinner.
