I've been on these guided DEC trips before and have found them to be fun and educational. They just need to limit the number of people to a reasonable amount
Well count me out in supporting any thing you do since kayakers are not welcomed there is way too much dissension amongst boaters. It is just like politics
The DEC stopped using the kayaks, & I don't think any would be welcome on the trip! Sent from my iPhone
A list of kayaking events emailed to the webmaster, or that occur annually will be posted periodically as updates are obtained and as time allows. Since it is impossible to include all paddles occurring, group members are encouraged to check schedules at meetup.com and various kayaking groups/clubs if nothing in the weekly webmaster picks appeal to them.
Additional, impromptu paddles during the week, useful info, anything kayak related, can be announced by anyone (member, other clubs, outfitters, town representatives, etc). We'd like KingstonPaddlePals to make kayak social networking easier for all paddlers...so please participate:
email the group (KingstonPaddlePals@yahoogroups.com), or
email the webmaster at DDintruff@yahoo.com
Founders of KingstonPaddlePals also initiated the Esopus Explorers Walking Program: brochures available on the Town of Esopus website esopus.com.
