    Diane,

You may have heard about this already, but just in case - thought it would be of interest to your Paddle Pals!

Please join Ulster County Executive Mike Hein for a public forum on area concerns with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP). The County Executive will be joined by other upstate leaders, NYC DEP representatives and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation senior staff. The event will afford attendees the opportunity to have their voices heard and to ask important questions about concerns such as the Delaware Aqueduct leak in Wawarsing, the turbidity in the Lower Esopus Creek, the tax impacts of NYC landholdings in Ulster County, or others.

    WHEN:

    Monday, January 23, 2012, at 6:00 pm.

    WHERE:

Vanderlyn Lounge, Ulster County Community College, Vanderlyn Hall, 491 Cottekill Road  Stone Ridge, NY 12484-5103

Attached is a letter from the County Executive to residents and business owners as well as a flyer for the event.
I encourage you circulate to anyone else that you feel may be interested in this event.
