Group Description

This Group Consists of My Own Original Artwork In Being a Contemporary Artist, a Heraldic Artist in the Hand Painting of Family Coat of Arms, a Modeller and Diorama Builder of World War 1 and World War 2 Model Airplanes and Armored Vehicles, and a Sign Painter and Designer. Over 35 Years Fine Art Experience.

Actually, I started out Painting at the Early Age of 3, and at that time, my Dad worked for KIRN SIGN COMPANY in St.Louis, Missouri in the 1950s as a Sign Painter and Designer, so it wasn't all that unusual for me to be in paint, when probably most Parents wouldn't even allow anyone that young to be around oil paints, certain thinners, and varnishes, but, my Dad had full confidence in Me on how to take care of brushes and other types of toxic materials.

For Further Reference On The Type of Artwork that I Produce, I have 3 Works of mine Published in 2 Books, the *1st Book was entitled: NATIVE AMERICAN ART AND FOLKLORE, A CULTURAL CELEBRATION,(HB)from 1993, ISBN:0-517-06975-X, and on Page 39 of this book is one of my examples of a hand painted Turtle Shell Wall Hanging that I had done in 1990.

The *2nd Book was entitled: CONTEMPORARY NATIVE AMERICAN
ARTISTS By DAWN E. RENO,(SC)from 1995,(Dawn had especially asked Me to be a contributor) ISBN:0-9641509-6-4, and I'm on Pages 174 and 175. On Page 174 there is a sepia tone photo of Me in Full Native American Dress, along with a brief profile that tells about Me in detail, and on Page 175 is shown one of a total of eight Spanish VILLARREAL Family Coat of Arms Plaques that I had been especially selected to do for this Family. I had also been told that I was the next Artist in line in reproducing them in quantity since the year 1620.

Sincerely Yours, Lowell Kevin Skypainter Turner
