Group Description

Kagyu Columbus is a public forum for the members and friends of Columbus Karma Thegsum Chöling Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Center. Our purpose is to promote Karma Kagyu Buddhism as taught by His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, and to offer a forum for dharma discussion, prayer requests and promotion of KTC events. We dedicate this forum to the long lives of our teachers and the benefit of all sentient beings!

For more information about Columbus KTC, please visit our website, www.columbusktc.org.

Forum Guidelines
1. The main teaching of dharma is not to harm ourselves or others. So, we should speak kindly in our posts, and be mindful to not harm ourselves or others with our words.

2. Feel free to use this forum to arrange rides to Dharma events and similar activities, make prayer requests, and engage in discussions about Buddhist practice and study.

3. As this group is by and for Columbus KTC members and friends, only CKTC events and activities (or events in which Columbus KTC participates) should be advertised here.

4. To ensure that questions about CKTC administration and activities are answered accurately, please email them to info@columbusktc.org, or board@columbusktc.org to reach the Executive Board, rather than posting them to this group.
These may include questions about: event details and registration, membership, CKTC policies, or other aspects of administration. When needed, a CKTC communications volunteer will be sure to post the response to this group, as well as replying to the sender.

5. Please don't advertise your business on this forum.
