      Greetings Known World Choir members!

      If you would like to nominate a song for the Top Ten Songs list, please do so by next Monday, Feb. 28th. At that time I will put all of the nominees into an online poll for you to register your preferences. Once you have all had a chance to enter your ratings, the KWC Board will announce the list of songs and provide sheet music and audio files.

      Remember that we are looking for ten polyphonic choral pieces that any group of singers can easily perform on the spur of the moment, with little or no rehearsal. Pieces should be singable by a variety of voices, easy to learn and remember, fun to sing, and resilient enough that they'll sound good without spending much time on nuance. Since a majority of us speak English as our native tongue (sorry Drachenwalders!) English is probably preferred, but Latin should be ok and Italian is probably reasonable as well.
