Jane Jeong Trenka
ASK is pleased to invite you for a discussion with Jane Jeong Trenka.
Jane is the author of The
Language of Blood: A Memoir, and with Julia Chinyere Oparah and Sun Yung
Shin, co-editor of
Outsiders Within: Writings on Transracial Adoption. Jane will discuss
Outsiders Within, the
growing global transracial adoptee movement, and some recent thoughts on
adoption, citizenship and immigration, and the role of the law in
adoption. Jane first came to
Korea in 1995 and has lived there since 2004.
Date/Time: Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 5:30-7pm
Location: KoRoot Seminar room on the lower level
Directions: Gyeongbokgung Station, line 3, exit 2. KoRoot is a
15-minute walk from the station. You can
