RE: [Julian-May-discuss] I should explain...
- Hi Jennifer,
There have been a few people on this list who have read in that order.
Heaps of people have read the whole series a few times, which as
individuals I think we all thought was pretty weird, but reassuring to
find that others had done the same.
I am actually pretty sure, that JM had written the Milieu draft first,
and it was this that inspired her to write the Exiles series, which she
released first. So in many respects, reading in that order is not such
a bad thing.

Subject: [Julian-May-discuss] I should explain...
I should have explained it better, I read the books in this order:
Jack the Bodiless,
The Many-coloured Land,
The Golden Torc,
The Non-Born King
and I'm now reading The Adversary.
I am still a bit confused about some parts of the plot, although I
think it maybe a little clearer once I finish the Adversary.
When I started reading Jack the Bodiless, I didn't know that there
were others before it, otherwise I would have read them in the
proper order, it would have been a lot easier!
