Unfortunately they don't appear to be connected to my lot who were all
descendents of a John Johnston who was married in Tasmania in 1841. I
don't know where John hailed from. The family are all on the Excel
document in the 'Files' section.
It's good that you have your details on the website now, someone may
find a connection.

My natural mother was claire johnston from condong n.s.w. she was a primary school teacher who, sadly died young in 1960. her parents were david johnston and cecilia johnston [nee moroney].That's all the info i have. If anyone can be of help or if there are any ancestors out there, i would be thrilled to know.Best wishes to the clan.

Are you aware that for NSW, limited Birth, Death & Marriage details are available online?
Read the instruction on how to get better results and if you find what you are looking for then get a transcriber to transcribe a certificate for you (cheaper than an original)
David JOHNSTON married Cecelia M MORONEY in the Ballina District.
Registration Number. 3770/1907 (the last for numbers are the year they were married).
Claire JOHNSTON died in 1960 in Sydney District.
Father: David JOHNSTON.
Mother: Claire Mary.
Reg No. 29286/1960
Cecilia JOHNSTON died in 1911 in Casino District.
Have you obtained and death certificates yourself for your birth mother or her parents?

Just as you have posted a messagi on this board, have you tried to post a similar message on a Genealogy Forum Notice Board.
There is a good one that covers Australia and it is free, you only over to sign up and register, but there is no hidden catches.
There are many researchers there that offer thier resources and time for free. You only have to ask the questions.
If you use this forum then a few tips.
Type the family/surname in capitals.
Provide known information. such as what I have added to yours (eg:dates, parents, locations, Reg Numbers)
