Re: [JUGGLING_GA] two shirt ideas for GH fest
- Wow, two great designs! Much thanks to Alan and Katherine for their efforts!
I also lean a little toward Alan's design, primarily because I like the idea of 2 groundhogs passing (though I personally would prefer to see club passing - no matter). I also like the idea of one of the groundhogs being slightly more feminine and one more masculine. Though perhaps I should remind El Presidente (y un malabarista), since he is about to pass into his majority, of the impending tendency with age toward androgyny. -J

I prefer Allan's design. Katherine's design has the advantage of being
camara ready, it is a wonderful design as well, and Rodger likes it the
best. I would like to see Allan's design in the finished state so that they
could be fairly compared. Thanks to everyone sumitting a design, I know it
takes a lot of work and many people don't realize what is involved. I
apologize for the public debate on which is a better design and hope no
one's feelings are hurt.

| Wow, we have two designs now! Here's another t-shirt idea submitted by
| Katherine (it goes on a royal blue shirt). Post your choice here so we
| let the artists know which design we prefer by tomorrow if possible. I'd
| like to give him/her a week or so to finish the design so we can get it to
| the printer in time to make the shirts.

second design. To quote her "The colors are to bright and it looks like a
Christmas shirt in stead of a Groundhog shirt."
I debated with her that it's a winter design and the ground hog has
historically been trying to predict the end of winter so it's appropriate.
I also pointed out the snow flakes were made up of the letters AJA, which I
hadn't notice till someone else pointed them out on this list. I thought
the AJA snowflakes were cool (pardon the pun) but it didn't sway my
daughter's opinion as she had noticed them "right off". Well she is the
artistic one in the family.
I like both but I have to admit I lean more toward the first design. I'm
not sure why, it may be that I'm a club passer by nature and they are passing.
So it seems we both lean toward the first design, some of us more strongly
In any case my hats off to both artists for the talent that they both
