Get "Lucky" for Thanksgiving
The Lucky Yates Show, the only live talk show in Atlanta, celebrates
it's 2 Year Anniversary on Saturday, November 30th at Dad's Garage
Lucky will be celebrating with an all star line up: WSB-TV Reporter
Monica Kaufman, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Music Director Robert Spano
and musical guests, The Deluxe Vaudeville Orchestra.
Two years ago, Lucky set up a small table backstage during Dad's Garage
production of "O Happy Day", and interviewed actors who happened to pass
by. A few weeks later, The Lucky Yates Talk Show was launched in Dad's
Garage Top Shelf space with Lucky's first guest being George Faughnan.
Over time, the audiences for The Lucky Yates Talk Show outgrew the Top
Shelf and so the show was moved to the Mainstage at Dad's Garage. As
audiences grew, so did the quality of Lucky's guests. Nationally known
performance artists Rhodessa Jones, Alliance Artistic Director Susan
Booth, Trading Space's Ty Pennington, Good Eats' Alton Brown, Chief
Medical Examiner Kris Sperry, 96 Rock's "The Regular Guys", Gary Anthony
Williams from Malcolm In The Middle and musical guests such as The Hot
August Knights (local Neil Diamond Cover Band) and Hub Cap City are just
a few of the guests that Lucky has had on his show as it has grown into
a cult hit and Atlanta's most popular live talk show.
The Lucky Yates Talk Show is Saturday, November 30th, at midnight. $5
plus the roll of the dice determines your price. Bring your family
that's in town for Thanksgiving and show them how to get "lucky" over
