Fw: [JLSAucla] Summer Study in Israel
MessageOn a further note...Prof. Bayzler wanted me to notify UCLA students that there is just one $1000 scholarship remaining from the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. Prof. Bazyler is looking to give it to a UCLA student. If you are interested in going, contact him ASAP (bazyler@...). This should be an amazing program.Danny----- Original Message -----From: Robbie HurwitzSent: Sunday, March 26, 2006 9:11 PMSubject: [JLSAucla] Summer Study in IsraelFrom Michael Bazyler (bazyler@...), Professor at Whittier Law School and Director of the Israel Summer Abroad Law Program:Still making plans for the summer? This is to let you know that a few spaces are still available for the only fully accredited-ABA summer law abroad program taking place in Israel this summer.
This is a 4 week program, allowing you to earn 6 credits, transferable to your home law school. We also have a two-week option, allowing you to earn up to 3 credits.
Classes begin July 2 on and end July 30 for the 4-week program and July 14 for the two-week option. Additionally, volunteer legal internships are available prior to the start of classes at Israeli courts, law firms, and NGOs.
This is a great opportunity to study law and work in Israel , if you choose, this summer.
Other highlights of the program include:
* CLASSES 41/2 DAYS PER WEEK
*PRIVATE BUS TO/FROM CLASSES
*HOUSING IN BEACH HOTEL IN TEL AVIV
*LEGAL TOURS INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM
*OPTIONAL TRIPS TO EILAT, JORDAN AND EGYPT
