  • I have a used but nice Ulmer 135 furling genoa. It was on a Harken furling system. I would like to get $450 plus shipping. The sail is located in upstate NY. I bought a larger Ulmer for Wednesday night racing. Brad Taylor.

  • Jeff, I would love to see the running rigging specs for the J28 as I would like to replace some halyards. I opened the attachments but do not see it. I also am getting a bit more of a drip than I used to through the propeller shaft stuffing box. What is the MTC here? Just break loose the lock nut and tighten a bit or does packing usually need to be replaced? Thank you, Brad Taylor...

  • I was down in the cockpit locker yesterday and noticed two "flanges" where the rudder stock comes up through the hull. They are unpainted fiberglass and have 8 bolts through the two flanges as if to bolt them together. The flanges are about 1 1/2" apart. I noticed that the bolts will slide up and down about 3/8" (not tight at all). The have locknuts on the bolts so the nuts are...

  • Has anyone removed or replaced their teak handrails? Are they screwed to the deck or bolted through or a combination? Also, I had the lexan replaced in the main cabin hatch, expensive but really nice. That was crazed pretty bad. The companionway drop board is not crazed but is hazy. Any experience polishing or buffing it back clear? Thank you, Brad Taylor
