Re: Italian whole gown
- As mentioned by another Italian jabroni,
Dangerous Beauties is a great film for the period you are
looking at. <br><br> There are a great many patterns you
can use from Amazon Dry Dry Goods and Pickle Works
(yes that is the name of the company. The standard
English corset can be modified to fit the specific "look"
you want. <br><br> But as a word of advise. Use the
metal boning, the cheap stuff will only fall apart
after a season or two.
- As always, so many of us who enjoy the
Renaissance -- esp. Italian -- consult the Web Gallery of
Art.<br><br><a href=http://www.kfki.hu/~arthp/ target=new>http://www.kfki.hu/~arthp/</a><br><br>"The Web Gallery of Art is a virtual museum and
searchable database of European painting and sculpture of
the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods
(1150-1800), currently containing over 9,200 reproductions."
