Twenty-player U.S. hockey team named
Colorado Springs, CO, Apr. 6 (UPI) -- Team USA in the 2005 world
hockey championships will have a 20-player roster that includes four
Olympians, it was announced Wednesday.
The 16-team competition will be played from April 30 to May 15 in
Innsbruck and Vienna, Austria. The U.S. won the bronze medal last
Former Olympics players on the U.S. team are Doug Weight of the St.
Louis Blues, Mike Modano of the Dallas Stars, Aaron Miller of the Los
Angeles Kings and Mike York of the Edmonton Oilers.
Seven players return from last year's national team: Miller; Ty
Conklin, Edmonton; Hal Gill, Boston; Andy Roach, St. Louis; Matt
Cullen, Carolina; Jeff Halpern, Washington, and Richard Park,
