On Sept 12th if there is no deal, most likely Wang Law goes into
effect and Steve Webb's season comes to an end. If that happens it
will get ugly and hang over the teams camp.
There are plenty of replacements, but considering how popular he is
right now with the fans, it would be a p.r disaster for the Islanders
on top of a summer with no spending on a player to help Yashin.
There is a little time to get something done. Interesting how Wiemer,
Scatchard will make more than Mike York if you believe what the press
in Edmonton is saying.
