My line going to the shaft log also reduces down. So the guy that did mine placed a "T" fitting in the line and bled off some of the preasure to an overboard

Wow. The hull speed on an if 41 is 7.49 kts . Tow boat USA has 400 hp and could only pull me at 7.5. HEURISKO at 2400 rpm is 6.5. 3 boats with the same speed

according to the Displacement Hull speed calculator a 41' waterline ( i don't think the waterline is 41') the max speed is 8.5 knots.

According to my notes, I replaced the hose with a Goodyear 63019. If memory serves me, it is not the exact hose but must be cut to fit. For what it is worth,
