      JENATZY
      The highly-bred stallion, Jenatzy, was recently disposed of at New Market, England, for 2,000 guineas. This horse, it may be remembered, was disposed of at auction of late Mr. C. Concanon, V S’s, effects for less than ₤ 100. A pity such a sacrifice, especially to have him emigrated to England

      JORDAN – At Vicar St., Tuam, on Thursday, 9th inst., the wife of Mr B J Jordan, of a daughter.
      O’FLAHERTY -- On Sunday, 5th inst., the wife of Mr. Joseph O’Flaherty, the Mall, Tuam, of a son.
      MORAN -- On Wednesday, 8th inst., the wife of Mr. James Moran, High Street, Tuam, of a son.

      McTURK -- August 30th, Alexander McTurk, B A, B E, Assistant Inspector, Congested Districts Board, Kiltimagh, Co Mayo. Aged 38 years.
      CONEYS – September 2nd, Walter, eldest son of Thomas Coneys, Esq, J P, of Streamstown House, Clifden.

      His many friends and fellow Gaols throughout the province will regret to learn fo the illness of Davey Ryder, the celebrated extreme forward of the Ballina Stephamilton (?). Mr. Ryder is also Hon Sec of the Connacht Council, G A A.
