The 15th Annual Massachusetts Association of Crime Analysts (MACA) Training Conference will be held from May 14th – 18th in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

The theme for this year is Data-Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety (DDACTS) and will feature lectures, hands-on computer labs, agency presentations and panel discussions, as well as networking, product sharing and a vendor showcase.

Featured speakers will include many DDACTS subject matter experts who are available to help agencies institute a data-driven approach to the reduction of crimes, crashes and other social harms. Agencies featured in keynote presentations will include Philadelphia PD; Shawnee, KS; Winter Park, FL; Fargo, ND and many others.

Our Keynote speaker this year will be Marcus Young of the CJIS FBI LEOKA Program. Marcus survived a life and death encounter where he was stabbed and shot on a very "Routine" call. His presentation is based on the Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted program and it is hoped that this presentation will increase officer safety and give analysts new ideas for the role that they play in officer safety.

There is still time to sign up for the conference and the guaranteed hotel room rate has been extended until May 7th.

Tuition for this 5 day conference, which includes daily breakfast, 1 luncheon, 1 dinner and giveaways is only $350

Please see the attached flyer for more information and you can register at www.macrimeanalysts.org
