      Dear List,

An extremely important special issue of "Human Biology: The International
Journal of Population Genetics and Anthropology", published earlier
this year, just made it into the PubMed data base. The issue contains
some major reviews on demographics and language change, cultural
evolution, demographic change and archaeology, and related topics.

Go here for access to all titles and abstracts:

      Two open access papers here

James Steel and Stephen Shennan, "Introduction: Demography and
      Cultural Macroevolution":

      Colin Renfrew, "Demography and Archaeology":

There is much of interest to discuss in many these papers.
