      Dear ICON friends:

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, commonly referred to
as the Mormon Church, is quickly growing in America and around the
world. Perhaps you have seen or talked with winsome young LDS
missionaries who travel in pairs and share their faith door to door.
The Mormon Church is very missionary-minded and currently has over
55,000 full-time missionaries around the world. Think of that! It is a
common misunderstanding that the Mormon Church is just another
Christian denomination. However, Mormon doctrine puts them so far
outside the scope of what is commonly shared by Orthodox, Roman
Catholic and Protestant Christians, that the Mormon Church cannot
accurately be called Christian. At best, the Mormon Church is a
pseudo-Christian sect. If you would like to hear what Mormons believe,
from former Mormons who are now Orthodox, listen to this podcast from
      Ancient Faith Radio.
