- T.V. Varughese ( Bangalore ) laid to rest.
It was with a sense of irreparable loss that every one received the news of the demise of Varughese uncle last Tuesday, 1 July, 2008. The honest sentiments from John Thomas Achen and others stand vindicated. Varughese Uncle is a class by himself in the Orthodox Church. His visions, programmes of action, respect for the immaculate faith of the Church, faith in MGOCSM in its ministry towards students, zealous efforts in grooming NAMS, all will leave a stable imprint in the minds of all. Varughese Uncle was least deterred by his ailments towards the fag end.
The Church, the MGOCSM, the Nams, the Bangalore Congregation all owe him a lot.
Varugheseuncle is survived by his wife Rajamma, children Reji, Kochumon and Reena, all married and well settled. Now it is for them to take up the mantle of their father and serve the Church.
