The Project Management Institute - Arabian Gulf Chapter (PMI-AGC) will be conducting a 2-day course on Risk Management: Processes & Techniques, on May 27-28, 2006, at the Regency Intercontinental Hotel, Manama , Bahrain .
This course covers the concepts of projects risks and uncertainties and how to deal with them. It addresses the reasons why many organizations are not adopting formal risk management procedures and describes how such procedures should be developed and adopted. It also addresses why individual project managers shy away from applying risk management in

The course is based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guide of the Project Management Institute. It aims particularly to clarify in details the many techniques that are used in quantitative risk analysis.
