Group Description

This is a group of Engineers and IT Professionals who are Corporate Members of IETE. More members are being invited continuously to join the Group.

I was elected as a Member of the IETE Council (2006-09). During this period, I have served the Council as its Honorary Treasurer for the years 2006-08. The Council also nominated me as the Chairman, Board of Examination for the year 2007-08 and the founder Chairman, Innovation & Exploration Committee for the year 2008-09. I have also been Member of FPPC, MLCC, ELAN, BORE, Publications Committee and several Sub-Committees.

I have used this group as a forum for brain storming the issues concerning the above Committees as well as to get ideas from the IETE Corporate Members for strengthening the activities of IETE and to make it a vibrant Institution. It has helped a lot.

Although I am no more a Council Member, based on the suggestions from a large number of Members of this Forum, I wish to continue to coordinate the activity of this Group. We will continue deliberating various issues important to IETE's growth through this Forum and also pass messages to the Members of this Group regarding various activities conducted/to be conducted by various IETE Centres/Sub-Centres and IETE HQ.

Most of the Council Members and Executive Committe Members of the Centres/Sub-Centres are Members of this Group so they will automatically get updated about the activities/discussions going in this Group. Please participate by sending your ideas/suggestions.

Kindly also tell your friends, who are IETE Corporate Members, to join this Group.
