            Thanks, Leo.

            I have placed you in a new group: 1.2.2.1.1.2.0- M223>...>L801, Z76>Z183>CTS1977* (Cont2b), for individuals who are CTS1977+ but CTS1858-, P95- and L1201-.

We expect this group to grow as more people take the appropriate SNP tests.

            Thanks,
            Aaron Torres

                Hello Leo,

I might save Aaron some time and answer this for you.

There are currently four (4) ordered placed for CTS1858 that results are pending:

                Wert 159320 - and is P95-
                Muffett 219697 - also ordered L1201 and is P95-
                Merritt 55254 - also ordered L1201 and is P95-
                O'Driscoll 107147

                Apart from you only Hausman N5605 is CTS1977+, CTS1858-, L1201-, P95-.

                Eastin 78983 and Kanters 172582 are CTS1977+ CTS1858-, P95-.
                Clement-Jones 94261, Ullrich 172361 and Fox N16652 are CTS1977+, L1201-, P95-

That leaves a lot of people still to test for CTS1858.

The four kits to have tested CTS1858+ so far (Tweedy N17176, Steepy N113005, Lewis 186923, and Wert 159320) suggest a distinctive STR pattern for this SNP. All four have DYS 389I=12 or 13. The three that have tested to 67 markers have 456=16 or 17, 578=9, 594=12, and 640=13. 578=9 is especially significant, as this STR has a very low mutation rate and 9 repeats is a very unusual result for I-M223+. 389I=13, 456=16, 578=9, and 640=13 are all identifying markers for Nordtvedt's Cont2b9 clade, and Nordtvedt now shows Cont2b9 as CTS1858+.

FTDNA reports on 23 May that the O'Driscoll Kit #107147 is CTS1858-, so...

                      Z76+ L801+ CTS1977+ Z78- L137- L1290- L126- CTS1858-

At the moment I believe that leaves P95 and L1201, so I plan to order L1201 next believing I would have been identified as a candidate for P95 sometime ago since it's been around for a while.

                      Cheers
                      Michael
