    Hello everyone, I just received my 37 marker Y-DNA results and it looks like I ve been included in the following group: 1.2.1.3.1- M223 Z161 L801, Z76 Z78*

      Hello everyone,

      I just received my 37 marker Y-DNA results and it looks like I've been included in the following group:

      1.2.1.3.1- M223>Z161>L801, Z76>Z78* (Cont1-XX) or ... Z78>Z171>L1198* (Cont1)? - Z78, Z171 and L1198

      Can someone enlighten me and tell me what all these numbers mean? Thanks!

        Maybe; maybe not. With enough samples, bones might not be needed.

        On the other hand, old bones and blood sometimes provide fascinating
