Group Description

I-95 runs along the east coast of the United States, between its northern terminus at the Canadian border at Houlton, Maine, where it becomes New Brunswick Route 95 and its southern terminus in the city of Miami, Florida, at a junction with U.S. Route 1.

All posts must include the originating city/state, destination city/state and date of run FIRST in the subject line - any other qualifiers or information may only FOLLOW these required 3 items. The request shall contain the URL of the responsible rescue/shelter and the Starting point and Destination of the run within the first paragraph.
Posts for transportation must either travel the I-95 corridor or cross it at a leg change.
I-95 runs through Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine. If your run does not go through these states along the I-95 corridor, do not post it here!

No unaltered pets will be transported to a forever home unless a veterinarian attests that there is some medical reason not to alter the pet before transport.
No photos are permitted in the posts -- if you want the transporters to see the dogs, please use a link to a webpage where they can be seen.
No "Pets Need Homes" posts allowed -- no cross-posting of petfinder lists -- this is a transport only list. No DNAs, no flaming, no off-topic, no petitions, no soliciting.

Home visit requests within 35 miles of this interstate will be allowed.

There is an alternative route. From I-95 exit 104, take 207 that merges with 301. Continue on 301 across the Potomac, through Maryland (but not near DC), across the Bay Bridge, and through rural Maryland and Delaware (eastern shore). Get back on I-95 just before Wilmington.
