  • Nobody who knows me would call me patriotic, but you sure could check your maps before calling Finland an island. Other than that, I guess my statement of the electronica in the USA was overblown.. a bit :) -antti > I agree. I didn't find anything particularly ground breaking or moving > about the said track. However, mainstream electronica of the USA? Dude, > you have no clue...

  • Well, just finished listening to the new alleged Hybrid track in the recent Buzz set. What can I say? What a bummer. Screams DJ tool and club-fodder. Probably a killer track to drop in the club, though it escapes me why? There's no melody, no clever production innovations (see: Buc Naztee: Dev 1.0 or maybe the usual suspects from downunder) and it does _absolutely_ nothing to me...

  • Listening currently to Hybrid's latest Buzz mix and waiting for the new Hybrid track to kick in! Umm, but there was a question here, which needed to be answered. Here we go (and I am quoting renegadesoundwaves): "Hybrid's Blackout (Inner Outer Mix) is a wonderful vocal track remixed by Daniel Zehavi and Efi Rand a.k.a. Inner & Outer. It is more upbeat and has some really cool...

  • Oh yeah, nice to see some idm movement represent on breaks mixes (Lusine). Looks definitely like a strong and more eclectic one. Talking about commercial mixes, I found the Kid Kenobi 04 Breaks mix for Ministry quite satisfying. Party breaks, yes, but quality. Especially the first cd without the MC. :) -antti > Us folk in the U.S. aren't as fortunate to see this release quite yet...

  • I'm totally with you Si. Too much house represent on Essential Mixes, not that it's particularly a bad thing. Talking of breaks mixes, did anyone catch the Meat Katie Essential Mix? I think it was pretty bad and boring. -antti > I notice that the people at BBBC R1 have realised that their are other > people out there other than Adam Freeland and the Stantons that represent > the...

  • Hahah.. Got this crazy idea after Chris Pitcher admitted having 18th birthday... (Congrats, man!) Risking my last bit of dignity, I thought it's time for the good old age/sex/location check :) If nothing else, you get to know at least how old I am :) Here we go: 27/m/Finland -antti
