RE: [Hybrid] Re: OT: Please protect your ears!
- Tinnitus can be/is also caused by Aspartame, the artificial sweetener in many drinks. That's not its only effect and should be avoided for many other reasons. Don't give it to your kids. Ever.
It took me years to realise that soft drinks were behind ringing/whooshing in my ears, along with other stuff including insomnia. I cut them out, my life improved :)
I had my ears tested a few months ago and did detect damage caused from loud music. The ear I cue with was not as damaged, as the cup/headphone protects the ear from the crappy quality sound usually belted out by the monitor/shoddy sound system in the club.

I too have tinnitus. Started about a year ago and since November has been unbearable.
However, last Saturday it went completely... I was on cloud 9, only for it to come back the next day. So...... do protect your ears. As a footnote tinnitus can also be caused by allergies especially to mould..... something I was hoping as being the cause of mine as at least it's potentially cureable. Respect Darrin fpr bringing this up. Enjoy music sensibly.

this condition is it's where you can hear sounds where none exist. Others cannot hear the sounds But you can. Some people like myself can hear these horrible noises night and day every day. It may never go away. It left me feeling very depressed.
