      Fall is a great time to begin gearing up for a mudless & chore-efficient
      winter.

      On Wednesday, September 17th from 4 to 7pm in Ferndale, Washington (Whatcom
      County) join Horses for Clean Water at a free Farm Tour Open House at a
      beautiful small farm. This Open House offers speakers & experts, educational
      materials and technical assistance on many topics that relate to small farm and
      livestock management.

      Educational stations at this event include:
      · Mudless confinement areas
      · Pasture management & irrigation systems
      · Composting & manure management
      · Orchard care & growing fruit trees
      · Electric fencing
      · Sheep health & care
      · Raising chickens
      · Border Collies sheep herding demonstrations
