I know this is going to sound really bad but I sort of miss the good old "bodice rippers". Some of the heroes these days seem kind of wimpy. I miss it when the hero starts of bossing around the heroine---makes it all the more interesting when they start to grovel. When a hero is all sweet at the beginning, there isn't much left when he gets civilized by the heroine.Stephanie Bachman <chuxsgirl@...>
Hey, I really like all kinds of the historical romances. There are all
different types... I don't have a preference. I've read more of the ones
when the women are suppressed. In the times when they didn't wear pants and
the men were very dominating.
