- Jul 22Oh, that sounds much more serious than mine. I just see blue smoke (faintly). I disconnected the breather hose and it still smokes.I have no clue on the brown and sticky residue.Good luck.

I have about 150 hrs on the engine. The issue has just showed up recently. The plugs all look good so I don't think that the problem is coming from the cylinders.I talked to a friend at work, and he suggested that it might be vent line is not big enough or has gotten clogged. I will check the vents and see what I can find. The stuff coming out of the exhaust is dark brown and sticky. A couple of minutes at a fast idle covered the prop with goo.
