I see where they were sealed and over the years the sealant has worn away. I replace the spark plug ends and found a 1K ohm resister in the plug cap boots. With the new plug caps my wires are a little tight for my liking but ok. Would be nice to add some new longer wires.

Has anyone had any experience removing the spark plug wire form the coil? I was thinking the wire might screw in?
