    Is your Avenger the one that was in the magazines? 
    I run auto fuel and at 50 hours my oil is dark but clean and like you I wait for the 110 oil temp. 275 to 300 oil temp and 12 to 13 hundred EGT.

    My engine is on a Fisher Avenger. I've upped the oil change interval to 60 hours a few hundred hours ago since the oil going out didn't look much different in color than the oil going in.

    The engine cooling has been perfect from the first hour of use. It rarely sees 310 degrees CHT and under 1,400 EGT. I also idle the engine until the oil temperature reaches at least 110 degrees and the CHT's hit 200 before takeoff. Flights are usually last an hour or more. I'm assuming this has all helped with engine wear.
