I'm currently getting my KQED digital feed only on channel 30-1 via a
Dish6000/OTA module. I'm hearing that others are getting the
widescreen presentations on channel 30-3 (Thursday night's "Gold Rush

generating any sub-channels other than the original 30-1. Are other
Dish6000 users experiencing the same thing?

I have not seen that problem, but I wasn't looking. I do know that when
they go to broadcast HDTV they get it DIRECTLY from the satellite and that
causes all sorts of subchannel shinanigans (?). They had 30.6 going the
other day when I looked in. Seems they are more testing than broadcasting,
but so are the other guys, so I don't worry.
