Hi Sara :)  Thanks!   Fleshy, it wouldn't be a bad idea to start up a little side group on facebook for those who are on it-that way we can incorporate our Deadwood moments into our facebook moments... facebook is like damn crack!

I met and formed frienships with many wonderful people at this site and it would be a shame to all just lose touch as we were a family of sorts... but y'all let me know if we should keep the group open, in Honor of DeadwooD and to keep in touch.....or just let it drift off into the past, which would be a shame.

I'd love to hear what You are watching lately, maybe we might find something, thinking collectively, that we'd never seen before, and might like! Of course there will never be another Deadwood, but through venues such as facebook, I'm still in touch with a few HBO-DeadwooD members and even actors from the show, of whom some are as down to earth and as accessible as your next door neighbor. I know I haven't been the best group leader by FAR and had it not been for my wonderful moderator , "Professor Val" I could never had kept it going. Special props and Thanks, Val....I owe you.

      Hi Flesh!
Yes, Deadwood was/is the greatest. I gave my CD sets to my son who was in the Marines and unable to see Deadwood when it aired. He also thought it was the greatest series ever, and would call me up reciting lines from it. But I am over it now. Moved on to other things. Keep watching for Ian to recreate that personae, but nothing will ever match his Swearingen I fear.
"MadMen" is my favorite series now. Otherwise, my kids have got me into Rock Band, and I've been participating in the Marlboro Outwit the West contests, winning gifts and hoping to get invited to the Marlboro Ranch.
Thanks for creating the Yahoo Deadwood Group. It was great while it lasted, but I'm ready to move on. My best to you and Professor Val and all...
