A long time wish of HASA members has been to have all stories come up
in a random rotation, digging through the entire archive catalogue to
feature works that readers may not have seen before.
Wizard-behind-the-scenes Anglachel has been tinkering away at her
workbench for a year, trying to get just the right combination of
      randomization and performance.

      And here it is:

On the HASA home page, there is now a featured story display. For each
visitor, the site creates a randomized story list of all reviewed and
published works in the archive catalogue, and shows them one at a
time. Each story gets fifteen minutes on the home page and then is
replaced with another. The selection doesn't change with each page
refresh so that the reader won't lose a particular story by going to
check something else for a second, but the stories will change over
time, with nearly 100 different selections every 24 hours.

Be sure to check out the home page often, every fifteen minutes, in
fact, to find another treasure from HASA.

When you find one you enjoy, particularly an older story, be sure to
send an email to the author and let her know how much you enjoyed it.
"Contact the Author" links are found in the left-hand navigation bar
      on every story page.

      Have fun exploring!
