  • Re: Transfer group ownership?

Hi Munoko, I'll add that should you want to totally divest yourself of ownership, please add at least two new owners. Having just one owner leaves the group

munoko, ... Click on her row in your Manage Members list (either Members or Moderators tab). This should open a pop-up dialog. On that dialog change her Role

  • Transfer group ownership?

I have an opposite problem to the moderators who wanted to become owners. I am a group owner who wants to transfer ownership to my moderator, but HOW? I can't

Group Description

Would you like to be a better Yahoo! Group Owner and/or Moderator? We discuss our experiences as Yahoo! Groups Owners and Moderators, share our ideas for promoting and customizing content areas, and offer various techniques for managing groups. We strive to provide a resource of the highest quality for Owners and Moderators alike.

The Group Managers Forum (GMF) was founded as the "Club Founders Forum" (CFF) using the original Yahoo! Clubs service. Yahoo! acquired eGroups on 6-28-2000 and relaunched it as Yahoo! Groups on 1-25-2001. Yahoo began migrating Y!Clubs to Y!Groups on 2-6-2002. A "grub" refers to a group that was once a club.
